EVERCOAST Direct Mount Crankset, 24mm - Raw Polished
The crankset that looks like it belongs on this bike. The Evercoast Road Crankset is a CNC machined aluminium crankset finished in raw polished silver — a finish that reflects light cleanly, complements the chromoly steel frame it mounts to, and ages with character rather than degrading with it. Evercoast branded on the crank arm. Designed to be on the Passage and Seymour builds.
Direct Mount Single Ring: 40T
The 1x-specific direct mount interface eliminates the spider — the ring mounts directly to the crank body for a stiffer, more precise interface and a cleaner visual profile. The 40T direct mount chainring is the correct specification for a 1x gravel or all-road build paired with an 11-42T or 11-46T wide-range cassette, providing a gear range that covers steep climbs and fast flat riding without a front derailleur to manage. A narrow-wide tooth profile keeps the chain on without a chain guide on most gravel and road terrain.
50/34T Compact Double: Road and Gravel Range
The 50/34T compact double is the most widely used road chainring configuration — a 50T large ring for fast flat riding and a 34T inner ring that provides a meaningful climbing gear paired with any standard road or gravel cassette. Compatible with standard 2x front derailleurs and all standard 11-speed road and gravel cables and derailleurs. The correct chainring specification for the Seymour Road build with Shimano 105.
24mm Spindle: Standard Interface
The 24mm spindle is the most widely used crankset spindle standard in the world — compatible with the Shimano BB-RS501 bottom bracket that we stock and spec on every Passage and Seymour build. No proprietary tools, no specialist bearing press, no headaches. The same bottom bracket that runs Shimano GRX, CUES, and 105 cranksets runs this one.
BSA 68mm English Thread Compatible
Correct for the Evercoast Passage and Seymour frames and the vast majority of standard road and gravel frames. Install with the BB-RS501 — available separately in our component range.
Polished Silver: Raw Aluminium Finish
The raw polished finish is machined directly into the aluminium — not painted, not anodised, not coated. It reflects light cleanly and develops a subtle patina over time that polished alloy develops on a well-used bike. On a silver cockpit build it is visually seamless. Against a darker frame it provides clean contrast.
