Sun Ringle Helix TR25 Rim — Tubeless Ready, Trail Proven The Helix TR25 features STR tubeless ready construction with a 22mm internal width, 18.2mm rim depth, sleeved joint, and single eyelets — disc specific and built to stand up to aggressive trail riding. The 22mm internal width hits the sweet spot for gravel riding — wide enough to properly support 35–50mm gravel tyres for optimal tyre profile and traction, narrow enough to keep the wheelset light and efficient.

Novatec D791SB Front Hub — Lightweight and Stiff The D791SB is an alloy J-hook disc hub weighing just 154g, running 2 sealed cartridge bearings on a 12x100mm thru axle with 6-bolt disc fitment. The 12x100mm front thru axle dramatically increases front end stiffness over a quick release setup — eliminating the flex that degrades steering precision and braking feel, particularly noticeable on fast gravel descents.

Novatec D792SB Rear Hub — 4 Sealed Bearings, Rock Solid The D792SB rear hub runs 4 sealed cartridge bearings on a 12x142mm thru axle — two more bearing contact points than a typical quick release rear hub — giving the rear end the torsional rigidity and lateral stiffness that makes thru axle bikes feel planted and precise. The AL7075 alloy hub body features 6-bolt international disc fitment and compatibility with Shimano HG 8/9/10/11 speed cassette bodies.

Novatec Multi-Axle System — Future-Proof Compatibility Both the D791SB and D792SB support Novatec's Multi-Axle System, meaning the hubs can be converted to different axle standards simply by swapping end caps — no hub replacement required. The D791SB front is convertible between QR 9x100mm, 12x100mm, and 15x100mm. The D792SB rear converts between QR 10x135mm, 12x135mm, and 12x142mm. As supplied, this wheelset is configured for 12x100mm front and 12x142mm rear. If your frame or fork uses a different standard, end caps are available separately.

Tire Compatibility

The 22mm internal rim width is recommended for use with tires in the 35–50mm range. Compatible with both clincher and tubeless ready tires. For tubeless setup, tubeless rim tape, valves, and sealant are required and sold separately.

Cassette Compatibility

Shimano HG freehub — compatible with Shimano 8, 9, 10, and 11 speed cassettes, and SRAM cassettes with standard HG tooth interface. Not compatible with SRAM XD, XDR, or Shimano Microspline cassette bodies.

Important Compatibility Note

This wheelset is supplied configured for 12mm thru axle front and rear. Verify your frame accepts 12x142mm rear and your fork accepts 12x100mm before ordering. If you require a different axle standard, end caps are available separately to convert via the Novatec Multi-Axle System. Thru axles are frame and fork specific and are not included.
