The Brooks Scape Feed Pouch is a 1-litre waterproof handlebar-mounted pouch designed for the snacks, camera, spare lens, or small essentials that need to stay within reach on a long gravel ride or bikepacking trip. Not a full handlebar bag — a compact, purposeful pouch that sits on the bar without dominating it, accessible with one hand while riding, and built to the same standard as the rest of the Brooks Scape bag range.

1 Litre. Surprisingly Useful Capacity.
At 1 litre the Feed Pouch holds more than the dimensions suggest — a large water bottle, a small camera and snacks, energy bars and a wind jacket in a pinch, or the tools and spare tubes for a day ride. The opening is large enough to reach in and retrieve items without stopping, which is the point of a feed pouch. A reviewer from a German cycling publication noted the opening is specifically sized for hand access while riding — a design decision rather than an afterthought.

One-Handed Closure. Accessible on the Move.
The innovative closure uses a one-finger puller that can be operated while riding — open it with one hand, retrieve your snack or camera, close it again without stopping. The exterior stretch mesh pocket adds a second accessible compartment for smaller items — empty wrappers, sunscreen, sunglasses, or anything you want within reach without opening the main closure.

Brooks Custom Cotton Fabric. Two-Layer Waterproof Coating.
Brooks uses their own custom-made cotton fabric with a two-layer waterproof coating throughout the Scape range. Welded seam construction ensures water cannot enter through the stitch lines. A metal drain hole at the bottom lets any incidental water exit cleanly rather than pooling inside. For Vancouver's sustained wet weather this is the correct specification for a bag that lives on the front of the bike in the rain.

Hypalon Mounting Hardware. Secure and Bar-Friendly.
Two Hypalon hook-and-loop straps and one nylon webbing strap attach the pouch securely to the handlebar. Hypalon patches on the straps prevent scratching the bar surface when cinched down — relevant on an aluminium or polished bar where strap marks accumulate quickly. A daisy chain on the exterior provides additional mounting points for accessories. The mounting hardware is straightforward and adjustable to fit most standard drop bar diameters including the UNO FL-12 and Dajia Far Bar.

The Passage Gravel and Passage Touring Companion.
The Feed Pouch is the natural handlebar accessory for the Passage Gravel on a long mixed-surface day — snacks accessible without stopping, camera within reach for the views, phone and keys secure. On the Passage Touring with a front rack, the Feed Pouch mounts to the bar above the Constructeur rack for additional carrying capacity without interfering with the rack load.
