The Dajia Cycleworks Far Bar is the handlebar for riders who want the control and versatility of a drop bar on gravel, touring, and adventure riding without compromising their hood position or their ability to reach the brake levers from the drops. Unlike the dirt drop bars of years past that forced a trade-off between a usable hood position and functional drops, the Far Bar's geometry gives you both — a normal, comfortable hood position for the majority of your riding and a genuinely reachable drop position for technical descents, headwinds, and the moments when you need more control and lower hand position.

40 Degrees of Flare. The Drops Open Up.
The Far Bar's approximately 40 degree flare is the defining feature of the bar's geometry. The drops flare significantly outward from the hood position, widening your grip in the drops for more control and stability on rough terrain. The overall width at the drops is 585mm on the 44cm model and 625mm on the 48cm model — meaningfully wider than a standard road drop bar at the same hood width. That additional width at the drops is directly responsible for the stability and confidence the Far Bar provides when the terrain gets technical. It is the same geometric logic as any modern gravel bar, taken further.

21 Degrees of Sweep. Natural Wrist Position on the Hoods.
The 21 degree backsweep through the tops and hood area brings the hoods back toward the rider at a more natural wrist angle than a straight road bar. Most of your riding time is spent on the hoods — the Far Bar makes that position more comfortable and sustainable for longer rides by reducing the wrist extension that a forward-reaching road bar creates. Riders who transition to the Far Bar from a standard road bar consistently note the improvement in hood position comfort on longer rides.

110mm Drop. 76mm Reach. Deep and Accessible.
The 110mm drop is deeper than many modern compact gravel bars, which places the drops in a genuinely lower, more aerodynamic position for fast descents and headwind sections. The 76mm reach is moderate — the drops are not cramped and close, but they are reachable without stretching. The geometry places the brake levers in a position that is accessible from the drops without repositioning the hands, which is the critical functional requirement for an off-road drop bar used on technical terrain.

Compatible with STI Brifters and Bar-End Shifters.
The Far Bar works with integrated shift/brake levers — Shimano STI, SRAM DoubleTap, Sensah — as well as bar-end shifters for riders building a more traditional touring setup. The 23.8mm grip area at the bar ends accommodates standard bar-end shifters and the 31.8mm centre clamp fits all standard stems.

A Note on Width Measurement.
The Far Bar is measured differently from a standard road bar. The listed width — 44cm or 48cm — is measured centre of the hoods to centre of the hoods, not at the drops. The overall width at the drops is significantly wider: 585mm total on the 44cm and 625mm total on the 48cm. Choose your size based on shoulder width as measured at the hoods, not at the drops.
