ST-R7000 Dual-Control Levers Provide Ultegra Ergonomics at 105 Price:The ST-R7000 shifters inherit the ergonomic development of the Ultegra R8000: the same hood shape, the same reach adjustment, the same lever feel refined from Shimano's top-tier road components. Adjustable reach adjustment accommodates a broad range of hand sizes without requiring bar tape removal. Shifting is light, crisp, and consistent: riders who have used SRAM mechanical levers consistently note that 105 is in a different league for shift feel and noise. Right lever shifts and controls the rear brake. Left lever shifts and controls the front brake.

FC-R7000 Crankset 50/34T Compact, 170mm: The FC-R7000 two-piece crankset uses Shimano's Hollowtech II spindle interface: the same outboard bearing standard used across Shimano's road range from 105 through Dura-Ace. 50/34T compact chainring configuration covers everything from fast flat riding to meaningful climbs. 170mm crank arm length. Four-arm construction with a clean visual profile that borrows directly from the Dura-Ace 9100 aesthetic.

BR-R7010 Rim Brakes Dual Pivot, Front and Rear: The R7000 rim brakes are widely regarded as one of the high points of the groupset, and one of the best rim brake calipers available at any price point. Dual pivot construction with Shimano's R55C4 brake pad compound delivers strong, confidence-inspiring stopping power with excellent modulation. Road.cc found 105 brakes considerably better than Tiagra in both outright power and fingertip control. The feel at the lever is nearly identical to Ultegra. Maximum tire clearance 28mm.

CS-HG700 Cassette 11-36T, 11-Speed: The CS-HG700 is a high-quality 11-speed Hyperglide cassette with a wide 11-36T range: wider than the standard 11-28T or 11-32T configurations and suited to mixed-terrain riding, loaded touring, or riders who want a genuine climbing gear without a front derailleur compromise. Hyperglide tooth profiling provides fast, consistent shifting in both directions. Compatible with standard Shimano HG 11-speed freehubs.

CN-HG601 105 11-Speed Chain: The CN-HG601 is Shimano's 105-grade 11-speed chain: the correct chain for this drivetrain. Quick-link included for tool-free removal. When replacing the chain on an R7000 build, the HG601 or HG701 are the correct replacements.

What's Included

Not included: Bottom bracket, brake cables, housing, bar tape. For BSA 68mm English thread frames, the Shimano BB-RS501 is the correct bottom bracket for the FC-R7000 crankset.

Compatibility Notes

Standard HG 11-speed drivetrain: compatible with any Shimano HG 11-speed chain, cassette, and wheel with a standard HG freehub body. No proprietary standards. Parts available at every bike shop in the world.

Rim brake frames only: the BR-R7010 calipers require standard dual pivot rim brake mounting on the frame and fork. Not compatible with disc brake frames.

Tire clearance: BR-R7010 dual pivot calipers accommodate up to 28mm tires. Frame and fork clearance may allow wider tires but brake caliper reach limits effective clearance to 28mm maximum.

Bottom bracket: not included. FC-R7000 uses Shimano Hollowtech II and is compatible with BSA 68mm English thread frames using the Shimano BB-RS501.

Front derailleur: braze-on mount. Clamp adapters available separately for frames without a braze-on fitting.
