Oversized Sealed Cartridge Bearings. No Maintenance Required.
Packing and regreasing bearings are a thing of the past with sealed cartridge bearings. The oversized bearing size increases the bearing contact area for smoother, longer-lasting rotation under steering load. Sealed against water and dirt ingress, the bearings continue to perform consistently through wet Vancouver winters without the degradation that open caged bearings accumulate over time. When they eventually wear out they are replaced as a complete cartridge unit rather than requiring repacking.

Tapered Standard. Upper 1-1/8", Lower 1-1/2".
The tapered configuration uses an EC34 upper cup for the standard 1-1/8" steerer and an EC44 lower cup for the 1-1/2" lower bearing race. Tapered head tubes are increasingly common on modern road, gravel, and touring frames, combining the lighter and more precise steering feel of a 1-1/8" upper steerer with the additional stiffness and bearing surface of a larger 1-1/2" lower bearing at the fork crown. The split 40mm crown race is included and designed for easy installation without a dedicated press tool.

31mm Stack Height. Clean and Low Profile.
The 31mm stack height is appropriate for modern frame geometries that account for external cup headset dimensions in their design. The external cup design means the bearings sit outside the head tube rather than inside it, which is the correct configuration for straight head tubes including the Evercoast Passage and Seymour frames.

Three Finishes. Silver, Mirror, and Noir.
Available in polished silver, high-polish mirror, and noir black. The silver finish is the natural choice for silver cockpit builds and pairs directly with the polished UNO stems and Velo Orange Grand Cru seatpost. The mirror finish is a step up for riders who want the headset to be a visible detail on an open-framed build. The noir version suits darker builds cleanly.
